A new and independent life in the small group home at Aknashen

Launched in 2023 with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Armenia, the Foundation's flagship social programme — Community Small Group Homes named after Alice Dumoulin Izmirlian — addresses one of the sharpest gaps in the social protection system: young adults ageing out of institutional care. It provides safe, community-based housing and tailored support for up to 160 individuals aged 18 and above who cannot return to their families.
